I wrote the Quick Start Guide To Homemade Sauerkraut to give you confidence to make your own fermented foods. When I was a beginner, I had a hard time finding true step-by-step instructions on how to make sauerkraut. I read recipes, but that wasn’t good enough. It left me with more questions, like how much salt to add, how to make the brine, what was it supposed to look like after a week? I finally figured it out through trial and error and a few batches of kraut thrown in the trash (thinking back now, they were probably fine). But that doesn’t have to be you. You don’t have to make my mistakes.
I will explain it to you; provide detailed instructions, pictures and video all step-by step, the method I use to make basic lacto-fermented sauerkraut. I will provide you with resources such as a checklist and the most common problems, so you can troubleshoot on your own. I will also be available to help you.
